My favorite green smoothie
Not just any green smoothie, my favorite green smoothie. Candidly, this smoothie is inspired by my future MIL, who can throw anything into a blender and make a delicious smoothie every, single time. A skill only few can master!
I am someone who can’t eat right in the morning but I need to put something in my stomach to start the day. At the beginning of the year I started experimenting with different combinations and would throw whatever I had in the fridge into the blender. I finally perfected the recipe and ready to share, here she is!
Green Smoothie (makes ~ 32oz)
spinach (3-4 handfuls)
1 banana (sm - med)
1 apple (medium)
pineapple (5-6 chunks)
blueberries (handful)
lemon wedge (sm, peeled)
ginger root (sm piece) or frozen ginger cube
1-2 spoonfuls of peanut butter (flavor preference)
2 tbs honey
1 tps cinnamon
almond milk 1/4 - 1/2 cup
water 1/4 - 1/2 cup
